Blogging
So I really haven't blogged much this year... There was the spurt right after Brooks was born, but not much on the whole. I actually looked back tonight and read my first month of posts on my blog. It was such a special time.
Christy is in South Carolina right now. I really miss her and Brooks. I'll go to pick them up at the airport on Wednesday morning.
So recent life: I applied for a job in my department that I didn't get, and now I am really glad I didn't. I am looking forward to this coming year in Brooks College. To finally have my "second year" as a hall director and be able to start with things in place, knowing my facility. I think we have a lot of truly great stuff on the horizon and are implementing so new ideas and concepts that I think will really add to the experience. I am also looking forward to applying for PhD programs this fall. I think I will mainly be applying to programs in the Southeast. Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech. I may apply to Florida, Penn State and Maryland, but I doubt it.
